At the double! Falcao continues scoring run as Monaco leapfrog PSG to top Ligue 1

Radamel Falcao scored two more goals to take his Ligue 1 tally to seven in a 3-0 win over Bastia for his Monaco side.

The Colombian, signed from Atletico Madrid in the summer for £53million, has now netted in every game the French side have scored in during his debut campaign.

Emmanuel Riviere was the other man on the scoresheet as Monaco brushed a limp Bastia side to top the table by two points from rival Paris St Germain.

With his two goals, Falcao's record in European football also looks incredible. The 27-year-old has found the net 100 times in his 125 games during spells with Porto, Atletico Madrid, and now Monaco.

PSG had momentarily gone top when they narrowly beat Valenciennes 1-0 earlier on Wednesday evening.

Edinson Cavani was set up by fellow frontman Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score the only goal of the game.
