The 26-year-old was spotted in Hollywood leaving Craig's in a revealing getup that put her taut tummy on full display.

The model and actress wore a colorful crop top with yoga pants and kinky white boots for the evening out.

'It really bothers me that people are so offended by breasts,' she recently told the magazine, referencing the controversy that followed her nearly-naked appearance in the 2013 music video for Robin Thicke's hit Blurred Lines.

'That's when I realized how f****d our culture is. When we see breasts, we don't think of beauty and femininity. We think of vulgar, oversexualized images.'

This opinion certainly doesn't mean that Emily, who quickly rocketed to global fame after appearing in the Blurred Lines video, is concerned about her reputation as a sex symbol - quite the opposite in fact.

The model insists she is just as happy to be recognized for her saucy Instagram images, topless music video appearance, and Sports Illustrated shoot, as she is for her work with Planned Parenthood, or her work for former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

She goes on to note that she first started to become aware of how others might view her appearance when she learned about what she calls the 'other' gaze - her wording for the overtly sexual way in which men look at women.

While she was walking through the mall, a family friend spotted several men looking at her, and admitted to her mother that she was somewhat shocked by the attention that Emily was drawing.

But while others might see that sex symbol status as something scandalous - or something to be ashamed of - Emily doesn't pay mind to how others look at her, or how they might see her, particularly when it comes to those people who suggest her status as a 'sexy' woman automatically means she isn't a feminist.

Instead, she insists, a woman should focus on how she feels in herself, rather than allowing another person's views to dictate who they are, explaining: 'To me, any expression that is empowered and is your own as a woman is feminist.

'If a woman decides to dress sexy, it doesn’t mean she’s not a feminist.'
