Miley Cyrus' days of twerking in skimpy latex outfits appear to be well and truly over.

The songstress looks like a sexy southern belle as she strips down to a floral corset in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, where she also details the lessons she's learned from her parents.

Currently planning her wedding to longtime beau Liam Hemsworth, Miley, 24, revealed what her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus have taught her about marriage.

'One thing I've learned about marriage from my parents: Nothing and no one stays the same,' she told the magazine.

Miley and Liam, 27, started dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of the film The Last Song, got engaged in 2012 but split a year later.

It was revealed in January 2016 that the couple had reunited and that their engagement was back on.

Miley's parents have been married for 23 years and have five children together but it's been a rocky road.

Country crooner Billy, 55, filed for divorce in 2010 before dropping proceedings a year later.

In 2013 he filed once again in Nashville, with Tish, 50, also filing her own petition this time, in Los Angeles.

But a month later it was reported the duo had reconciled after attending marriage counselling.

On the cover she flaunts her cleavage in a strapless denim jumpsuit as she seductively places an ice cube on her tongue.

When asked who she would chose to mentor her if she was to audition on her talent show The Voice, Miley said she would pick Grammy-winner and The Voice co-star Alicia Keys.

Miley explained: 'She’s always made me feel super loved and special. I loved spending time in my big red chair next to my sis!'

Looking back over her numerous red carpet looks, the Party In The USA singer told Cosmo she most regrets wearing everything from 2008 to 2013, saying: 'The Grammys were rough and tough for me. Yoikes!'
