The team is there to ensure Evertonians feel valued and their feedback is heard. Gill Derbyshire
Head of Fan Based Services

Gill oversees the Fan Services team, which focuses on improving the experience of supporters through all of their interactions with the Club. Gill can be found around Goodison Park at every home game as a point of contact for any queries, issues, suggestions or feedback.

Rachel Meikle

Supporter Liaison Officer

Rachel is the primary point of contact for supporters experiencing issues or problems at away games. As Supporter Liaison Officer, she also works with opposition clubs ahead of each home and away matchday to gather essential information to be communicated to Evertonians. Rachel can also be found around Goodison Park at every home game as a point of contact for any queries, issues, suggestions or feedback.

Michelle Kirk
Disability Access Officer

Michelle provides assistance to disabled supporters to ensure they have a trouble-free, enjoyable experience, both at Goodison Park and at away grounds around the country. She is also working to ensure that, by 2017, the Club’s facilities and provisions are fully in line with the Accessible Stadia Guidance. Michelle can be found around the stadium at every home game as a point of contact for any queries, issues, suggestions or feedback.

Robert Elstone
Director & Chief Executive Officer, Everton Football Club

Robert was initially appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2005, arriving at Goodison from Deloitte, where he held the position of Director of the Sports Business Group. His first foray into the sporting world came almost a decade earlier when, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he was appointed as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive of the Rugby Football League. A major player in the formation of the Scottish Premier League during his time at Deloitte, Robert also worked for BSkyB as the Director of Football Business Affairs. He has been Everton's Chief Executive Officer since January 2009. In his time at Everton, Robert has introduced a number of key strategic, organisational and structural initiatives that have led to improved financial performance, greater stability in the business and a strong, empowered Management team. He has also helped drive substantial commercial progress in retail, sponsorship and ticketing - and is now leading the Club’s search for a new stadium.

Dr Denise Barrett-Baxendale, MBE
Director & Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Everton Football Club & Executive Chair, Everton in the Community

One of the most prominent and highly-respected women in the world of football, Dr Denise Barrett-Baxendale, MBE, spent 16 years working in education, fulfilling a variety of academic and leadership roles within Higher Education before venturing into the third sector and world of sport. Arriving at the Club in January 2010 to develop and lead a transformation strategy for Everton in the Community, Denise was appointed the Club’s Chief Operating Officer in October 2011 and promoted to Deputy Chief Executive in June 2013. The following year, she was named a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for ‘Services to the Community of Merseyside’. In her existing Club role, Denise has played an integral part in improving the matchday experience for supporters, in turn helping to increase attendances and enhance Everton’s reputation both nationally and abroad. She is also responsible for the Club's HR, ICT, Stadium Operations and Stadium Safety teams. Denise joined the Everton Board of Directors in July 2016, the same month she was appointed to the Board of Sport England, the national body for grassroots sport.

Richard Kenyon
Director of Marketing & Communications

Richard was appointed Director of Marketing and Communications in January 2014 following an interim consultancy role with the Club which included working with fans to redesign the Club's current crest. He arrived at Everton from Kenyon Fraser which - initially as Managing Director and then as Chief Executive - he built into one of the leading marketing and communications agencies in the North and one of the fastest-growing in the UK. A lifelong Evertonian, his role is to oversee and drive Marketing, Insight, Corporate Communications, PR and Media functions, as well as the servicing of the Club’s main partner, Chang. Richard previously worked for the PFA and MLS and acted as Interim Head of Marketing and Communications for The Jockey Club in the North West and the Grand National. He has also worked closely with the R&A on golf’s oldest major, the Open Championship.

David Harrison
Club Secretary & Head of Football Operations

After briefly holding the post of Assistant Club Secretary, David was appointed to his current role in 2002. He had previously joined the Club from Manchester United seven years earlier as Box Office Manager, having filled the same position at Old Trafford. Acknowledged as one of the leading football administrators in the Premier League, David has also been appointed a non-Executive Director of Liverpool County FA, a member of the European Club Association and is regularly called upon to attend Premier League working groups. He has worked extremely closely with the Chairman, Team Manager and Chief Executive on many high-profile and complex player acquisitions for the Club.
