Elvis Presley fans can now stay at his former Beverly Hills pad - for a price.

The King of Rock n Roll's four-bedroom home is available to rent for an eye-watering $4,000 a night, with a minimum stay of five nights.

For some fans, the experience of staying in the same house as Elvis - who lived at the property between 1967 and 1973 - will be worth the hefty price tag alone.

Unlike today, the King paid just $400,000 for the home in the 1960s. It was sold in 2014 for $14 million and put on the market again in 2016 for double.

Set in a one-acre plot of land, the French Regency-style, 5,400 sq/ft property has retained much of its the outward stone decor from when Elvis lived there.

The home is in the Trousdale Estates neighborhood of Beverly Hills, which has been home of some of the celeb world's best-known faces.

Previous residents have included Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, President Richard Nixon and Stevie Wonder.

It was once owned by Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton, who had hoped to demolish the building after buying it for nearly $10 million in 2012 but there was such an outcry that Burger King offered to buy it and preserve it as an Elvis shrine, prompting him to remodel the plans instead. It was later sold for $14 million.

The home remains a popular destination for Elvis fans, nearly 40 years after his death.
