'The bromance is BACK!' Love Island's favourite duo Kem and Chris' rumoured spin-off show is CONFIRMED... as delighted fans deem announcement 'the best news ever'

While they both bagged themselves stunning girlfriends in the villa, the most memorable Love Island relationship was undoubtedly Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes' bromance.

So viewers were naturally overjoyed when ITV2 bosses took to Twitter to confirm the loveable duo, who came in first and third place respectively, are set to return to screens for their very own spin-off show.

Kem reigned victorious on the hugely-popular second series of the rebooted show, which kicked off in June, as he walked away with £50,000 alongside girlfriend Amber Davies, while Chris was coupled with Olivia Attwood in third place.

Throughout the series, as their friendship grew stronger their popularity soared, with fans even begging for a loophole in which they could win the prize money and programme as a duo - leaving their divisive girlfriends behind.

Last week, speculation about a spin-off show documenting their post-Love Island bromance reached fever pitch, with sources telling The Sun: 'Bosses don’t want to see an end to their bromance and are already brainstorming possible a TV show'.

Yet ITV2 have now confirmed the news, as a message was posted on the channel's Twitter page reading: 'The bromance is back! You'll be seeing Chris & Kem again soon. They're busy grafting away on their own @itv2 show! Watch this space...'

One of the outstanding elements of the so-called bromance was their joint love of rap music, as they frequently 'spat' lyrics together and eventually coined their own track called Little Bit Leave It - of which fans called for an official release.

Shortly after the pair left the house, Chris took to Instagram to lament the end of their time together as he penned: 'First night apart in 8 weeks. When life feels like it's starting, it's kinda just come to an end'.

Much to everyone's amusement, Chris and Kem have been having a Twitter conversation about how much they miss each other. 'Just seen this bro counting the days 3 days to go', Kem wrote in response to Chris' post about their friendship.

The dialogue started when Kem shared a tweet reading, 'Love you @chrishughes_22', with the blue-eyed hunk replying, 'Foreva and Always my brother I miss you already'.

Clearly on their flight home, Kem joked: 'Mate your only 4 seats down from me'. The following day and the separation was still as difficult. 'Still miss u @chrishughes_22', Kem wrote.

'I have a lump in my throat, but keep strong. Any problems call me. Counting down the days till Sunday', Chris replied.
