They tied the knot in a surprise ceremony last month after two years together.

And Kate Mara, 34, and new husband Jamie Bell, 31, looked as though they were still very much in the honeymoon period as they packed on the PDA at the Haute Living Celebrates Kate Mara with Westime cover party in Los Angeles on Monday night.

The newlyweds were all smiles as they remained close throughout the evening, wrapping their arms around each other as they mingled with the crowd.

The actress looked lovely in a fitted grey dress with ruched accents along the top and a flared skirt, which fell just above the knee.

Kate accessorized with a long gold necklace and opted for sparkling stilettos to add even more glamour to the look.

The pretty star wore her shoulder-length hair in two tight braids on either side of her head, with it parted down the center.

She wore dark eye makeup to accent her features and looked pretty with natural lipstick and highlighter.

The couple tied the knot in mid-July, seven months after announcing their engagement at the beginning of the year.

Jamie and Kate had initially met on the set of movie Fantastic Four back in 2014 and went public with their romance in May the following year.

Their private wedding was unknown at the time, but Jamie confirmed he and Kate had tied the knot in a sweet post he shared via Twitter, that included a hazy picture of the couple kissing.

He simply captioned the snap: 'Me & Mrs B.'

Jamie had previously wed Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood in 2012, but the couple later split and parted ways two years later.

They share a four-year-old son together.

His new wife Kate, meanwhile, has previously admitted it is 'tricky' dating another actor.

She said: 'I think in our business, it's always a little bit tricky to navigate things because it's not like a normal job where you know where you're going to be the next year, let alone the next day. You just don't.'
