And Selma Blair, 45, looked happy to be taking on the role of mother as she hung out with Arthur, five, and boyfriend Ron Carlson's daughter Chloe, seven.

The doting mother brought the kids for ice cream in Los Angeles on Monday on a day off from filming the Heathers reboot.

Selma looked summery and chic in a white and beige off-the-shoulder dress by Ronny Kobo.

The long-sleeved number featured a pattern along the top and bottom and hung down just above her knees.

She opted to wear her long chestnut hair up in a ponytail and opted for little makeup on her naturally pretty complexion.

The pretty star carried a large white and blue crocheted Talbots bag with her, which was sure to hold everything she needed for the day.

Finishing off her outfit, she wore slip on sandals for comfort while taking the kids to the store to grab a treat.

Selma has been spending quite a lot of time with her beau's daughter as they seem to have successfully integrated their families after two years together.

Arthur's father is the American Crime Story actress' ex-partner, fashion designer Jason Bleick.

The Legally Blonde star was previously married to Ahmet Zappa, who she divorced in 2006, before she embarked on romance with Bleick.

The pair welcomed son Arthur Saint, now 5, before they separated in 2012 after two years together.

The Heathers TV series will be set in the present day with Veronica Sawyer, played by Grace Victoria Cox, dealing with a new but equally cruel group of Heathers.

The original 1988 black comedy starred Winona Ryder as Veronica and featured Shannen Doherty, Lisanna Falk and Kim Walkers as vicious high school Heathers.

Meanwhile Selma is also getting set for an undoubtedly busy promotional tour for her new film Mom And Dad.
