Hollywood actor Mel Gibson has listed his Costa Rican jungle mansion for sale at $29.75million. The property comes with three hilltop coral-stone villas, each fitted with several bedrooms and their own kitchen

The largest of the three manors, Casa Guanacaste, has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The tiled floors add to the tropical feel of the home, which is located in the remote part of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica

The mansion is surrounded by the lush jungle terrain and rooms often open up to the beautiful scenery. The man behind the blockbuster Braveheart previously listed the property in 2014 for $29.8million 

Although the beach is only a short walk away, the home comes with a large crescent-shaped swimming pool. A nicely shaded sunbathing area is poolside, perfect for drying off from a dip in the water or relaxing with a book

The largest villa opens up to a green outdoor space with balconies overlooking the stone courtyard, making it an ideal spot for morning mediation or evening relaxation

Gibson, a father-of-nine, might miss having the space once the pad is sold. However, the Australian-raised filmmaker still has an impressive property portfolio to fall back on. Gibson is rumored to have wandered the property with a machete in hand

Although the pad is clearly breathtaking, Gibson has been trying to sell the mansion for quite some time. The tropical retreat was listed in 2010 for $35million but later taken off the market before then being relisted at $29.8million 

Exclusive real estate agent Christie's is marketing the estate. A video clip of the sprawling estate shows stunning views from multiple verandas overlooking acres of vibrant jungle and the white sand beaches of Barrigona

 Because of its remote location, visitors often access it by private jet or helicopter, with a grass helipad welcoming aircraft carrying anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life

The white-sand beaches stretch for two miles on the 400-acre estate. Rarely marked on maps, Playa Barrigona is a haven of solitude and serenity drawing olive ridley sea turtles

If visitors grow bored of the serene but remote destination, there are nearby villages that have restaurants and shops

Gibson, who owns several homes amassing hundreds of millions, seems to be clearing out his property portfolio with selling his jungle getaway and with the listing of his medieval-themed Malibu mansion for $17.5million
