Completing her casual look with a grey tracksuit top and running shoes, Jessie looked suitably relaxed while strolling a quiet residential street.

Her appearance comes after it was reported that ratings for the second episode of EastEnders spin-off Kat & Alfie: Redwater dropped by more than two million during its six-episode run.

A source told The Sun: 'Everyone thought Redwater would be a huge hit given the massive, loyal fanbase EastEnders has.

'EastEnders draws in over six million viewers each episode so producers thought Redwater would follow suit and get at least three quarters of the audience.

'It got off to a brilliant start with five million so their hopes were up, but the ratings for episode two are bleak.'

Jessie shot to huge fame playing Kat, a member of the popular Slater family, in 2000 and has appeared on EastEnders on and off ever since.

With her romance with Alfie being a focal storyline for throughout her time on the soap, the duo lster returned with spin-off Redwater.

The series saw the couple head to Ireland to attempt to find a child Kat never knew she had - a far-fetched tale that left viewers and critics divided.

In an unexpected twist her son's identity was revealed during the pilot episode, prompting bemusement from fans who considered the mystery to be one of show's biggest draws.

The show ended in June, although a second series is not guaranteed despite its final episode concluding with both Kat and Alfie's lives hanging in the balance.
