Australian supermodels Shanina Shaik and Bridget Malcolm joined David Jones ambassadors Jesinta Campbell (pictured in a Tigerlily bikini and $270 Tigerlily maxi dress worn as a cover-up) and Jessica Gomes on the runway on Wednesday for the Spring/Summer Collections 2017 launch

The dinner table was transformed into an elevated runway for the show which featured the best of the new season from David Jones’ stable of exclusive designers (pictured is Jessica in AJE)

Jesinta stunned in an eye-popping leopard two-piece before Shanina (pictured) stepped out alongside boyfriend DJ Ruckus in a stunning floral bikini by Milea - her hair scraped into a simple ponytail

Jessica, Jesinta and Bridget all looked pretty in pink as they posed in a number of fairytale-worthy dresses  

Soft pinks and ice blues will be all the rage in the coming months - the pinks likely paired with bold red pieces  

The colour is so popular, the show closed with a finale featuring a sea of pastel pink, salmon and eye-popping over-sized designs 

The striking foursome led a host of models down the catwalk in a sea of bold red numbers, racy lace pieces and Victoriana inspired looks as they walked for guests at the magnificent On Seven space at the flagship Elizabeth Street store (pictured is Zimmermann swim)

Tropical prints will also be back this summer, with Shanina and Jesinta both rocking colourful tropical looks on the runway (Shanina pictured in a Camilla dress)

Despite the summer months fast approaching, black will also be a wardrobe staple this season with Jesinta (right), Shanina (left), Bridget and Jessica (centre) all storming the runway in a number of striking black dresses

The stunning Self Portrait designs included black and white lace dresses, quirky collared necklines, cut-out pieces and pastel pink lace minis  

The Victoriana look was a recurring theme on the runway, with over-sized sleeves, frills, peasant styles and high necks appearing in a number of the designer collections for the coming season (pictured are designs by Aje)

Ginger & Smart models looked effortlessly elegant in their shimmery metallic get-ups 

Rachel Gilbert's glamorous collection was also all about flashy silver embellishments and glittering dresses

As expected, the Zimmermann pieces were all about femininity and opulence, with models stepping out in heavily embellished dresses, pink lace looks, thigh-high grey boots and lots of tassles

Model and social media star Sarah Jane Adams (left) was one of the models to walk for Camilla 

Models walking for Carla Zampatti looked ravishing in red as they donned mini dresses and off-the-shoulder jumpsuits 

Designs by MacGraw had a retro feel to them while exuding the feminine, youthful vibes they are known for - from lace dresses embellished with large frills to pastel pink and crisp white mini dresses with high necks and quirky prints

Singer Hollie Smith performed on the runway as models made their way around her 

The new Jets collection saw models step out on the runway in a mix of form-fitting black one pieces with small cutouts and plunging necklines 

Thurley's collection was all about pink lace dresses and mini dresses with intricate red, black and cream designs 

This is the last show to be held in the iconic On Seven space before the store undergoes a $200 million refurbishment (pictured are designs from The Upside)
