Australian models Ksenija Lukich, Bridget Malcolm, Jesinta Campbell, Shanina Shaik, Jessica Gomes and Montana Cox led the celebrity arrivals at David Jones on Wednesday night.

They set the red carpet alight by showcasing their enviable their figures in plunging necklines, sheer fabrics and off-the shoulder outfits.

In a nod to the luxury department store's runway theme of endless Australian summer,' the star-studded guest list didn't shy away from flashing the flesh.

With a gold clutch bag in hand, the blonde beauty looked sun kissed and relaxed ahead of the star-studded fashion show. 

The loose-fitting 60s-inspired frock covered up her enviable abs, but her long lean legs were on full display. 

Jesinta arrived with her AFL superstar husband Lance 'Buddy' Franklin on her arm. 

The athlete looked sharp in a blue plaid woollen jacket matched with navy trousers and a shirt dress.

Shanina Shaik stepped out in a silk, smoking jacket-style dress with an extreme plunging neckline.

The black ribbon belt showed off her tiny waist while the above-the-knee hemline and black stilettos let the Victoria's Secret model's legs do the talking. 

Her fiancé, DJ Ruckus, cut a slightly more dressed-down figure teaming black high-top sneakers with white jeans and matching T-shirt. 

His tailored, knee-length red jacket gave his outfit an air of circus ringmaster.

Meanwhile, model Ksenija Lukich showed off her stunning figure in a sheer blouse and floor-length skirt. 

Striking a regal pose on the red carpet, her 80-inspired multi-coloured outfit might have been a style misfire on another woman. 

But Ksenija's see-through skirt was the perfect garment for flashing her incredibly toned legs, while her geo-print blouse — tied in a knot at her waist — flaunted her smooth décolletage.

Large pink, green and blue earrings and a pair of plain black pumps finished off her ensemble.

Model-turned-actress Jessica Gomes, 32, turned heads in a ruffled, one-shoulder dress.

The brunette smouldered as she posed for cameras, her figure-hugging frock accentuated her tiny frame perfectly.

Blonde bombshell Bridget Malcolm was a vision in a yellow, one-shoulder Grecian gown and sky-high, gold strappy sandals. 

Arriving with her husband Nathaniel Hoho, she gave her curly-haired lover a kiss and the two stayed close as they posed for pictures.

Bridget only left Nathaniel's side to link up with fellow models Shanina and Jesinta, the three graced the catwalk together later.

Meanwhile, Montana Cox, 23, showed off her cleavage and long, lean legs in a pink off-the-shoulder dress.

The auburn-haired stunner kept her accessories to a glittering minimum with jewelled, single-string drop earrings and barely-there strappy gold heels.

It wasn't all about the ladies however as The Bachelor's Matthew 'Matty J' Johnson arrived looking dashing in a blue single-breasted, Savile Row cut suit.

Wearing a subtle-patterned pocket square, the raven-haired hunk wore a crisp shirt in a matching hue. 

Former Channel V presenter Carissa Walford surprised a few onlookers by opting for a subtle white dress.

Proud to be on the arm of his stunning wife, Mark joined the other boys by wearing blue. 

Teresa swept her blonde, beachy-waved locks into a high pony tail and kept her accessories simple with jewelled stud earrings and a cream-coloured clutch bag. 

The plummeting Sydney winter temperatures seemed to have got to Mimi Elashiry as she wrapped up in a leopard-print, faux fur jacket and a cream beret.

One of Australia's most talked about couples Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough arrived separately for the red carpet.

Lisa Wilkinson also opted for a red high-necked number, she smiled and snuggled up to her daughter Billi FitzSimons, in a nude-hued body con dress.

Fashion designer Rachel Gilbert cut a sophisticated figure in a matching navy top and trousers - both pieces featured ruffles that accentuated her lithe frame.

Sylvia Jeffries looked luminous as she arrived in a white, cold shoulder lace dress that highlighted her sun-kissed skin. 

Accessorising with a black bag and shoes, she beamed for the cameras.

Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich arrived arm-in-arm, both looking smart and schmick enough to skip straight to the French Riviera after the show.

The couple colour and style co-ordinated, both opting for tailored black outfits. Anna's chandelier earrings were the only smattering of fun in either's look.

A lot more fun was Christian Wilkins' attire. 'The Prince' as he likes to be called accompanied his dad and best friend Richard to the event in a transparent, black lace shirt and knee-length skirt.

Fashion designer Jodhi Meares was sexy and she knew it in a floor-length black, sequinned gown. 

The dress featured lace detailing and showed a hint of her cleavage, with her bra almost visible beneath. 

'Bad boy' Australian model Jordan Barrett gave the blue suit brigade a bit of interest by opting for a navy two-piece made up of a velvet fabric bomber jacket and track pants.

Accompanied by his best friend and fellow model Tahnee Atkinson, the two smiled and sidled up to each other for pictures. 

Tahnee wore a simple, silky, floor-length gown with a plunging back that showed off her enviable curves, her large gold disc earrings gave the ensemble an air of disco.

Home And Away actress Tessa James was another lady in red at the event, opting for a crimson-coloured lacy dress.

Model Nadia Fairfax looked very slim in a one-shoulder dress with pleated skirt, her ensemble's only pop of colour came from her gold jewellery, which included huge drop earrings. 

Sarah Jane Adams, the 60-year-old social media star who cites Keith Richards as one of her fashion icons, offered a rare pop of colour among the arrivals in a royal blue and red getup.

Sartorialist Dion Lee was very suave in a grey suit that featured a loose fitting jacket with asymmetric button detail and subtle plaid pattern.

One of the new faces of David Jones, Adut Akech, went all-out glam for her arrival outfit. She was striking in a short, plunging, strapless dress and feathery grey jacket, her lean legs accentuated with metallic shoes that featured just three straps.
