Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson gives a bravura performance alongside Oscar nominees Woody Harrelson and Naomi in The Glass Castle, as atrailer for the film's shown.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and due for release this week, the film's based on the 2005 memoir by Jeannette Walls, whom Brie portrays when she's an adult.
Woody and Naomi play Jeannette's parents Rex and Rose Mary, who are seen leading a nomadic and chaotic existence with the young Jeannette and her three siblings.

Naomi said to the morning show host: 'Jeannette's story is very empowering, because she basically embraced herself, but it took a lot of time getting there.'
When Matt argued of Rose Mary that 'it would be really easy to call her a bad mom,' in as much as she prioritized painting over 'the simple things she should be doing to care for her family,' Naomi said: 'That's right,' but also offered a counterpoint.
She said: 'We're quick to judge when a woman chooses her art over her parenting role, but the truth is, is that I think she was struggling with so many different things - you know, no money, sometimes food, no food on the table, and Rex's alcoholism - she had to paint in order to keep her mind, you know?'
Matt's said that 'There was oftentimes physical violence in the relationship' with Rex, and that nonetheless 'you don't want Rose Mary to be seen as a victim.'

'Definitely not,' Naomi concurred, explaining that 'Jeannette's mother talked about that, and also Jeannette. You know, she did struggle, they did fight, but she didn't ever - she was never squashed. Her spirit was always there.'
Naomi went on: 'She remained optimistic, and an adventurer, and one of her great sayings, which I really held onto and really surmised the essence of who she was, was: "If I go down the drain, I'll still come out the winner."'
