Rising star Maya Thurman-Hawke, 19, bears a striking resemblance to famous mother Uma Thurman as she makes her acting debut on the set of BBC drama Little Women

She has large footsteps to fill, but Maya Thurman-Hawke proved the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as she made her acting debut on Monday afternoon.

The daughter of Hollywood veterans Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke sported a semi-sheer nightgown while filming BBC drama Little Women in County Wicklow.

Despite chilly temperatures, Maya, 19, threw herself into her role as she waded out of the picturesque Irish region’s Brittas Bay during one particularly dramatic scene.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, she reflected on her low key introduction to the industry.
