She's just returned from a family trip to her birth country of Italy for the Giffoni Film Festival.

And after her summer travel, Amy Adams is back home in Los Angeles and relaxing with a trip to the mall.

The 42-year-old took a trip to the Westfield Fashion Square with husband Darren Le Gallo and their daughter Aviana.

But it was her role as Lois Lane in 2013's Man of Steel that caught the attention of comic book fans.

Come November, the star will reprise her famous character for Justice League, the DC Comics action-flick that features a slew of superheroes.

Amy has been announced to return to her role as princess Giselle in Disenchanted, the follow-up to the 2007 fantasy comedy, Enchanted.

She also stars as Camille Preaker in the TV show, Sharp Objects, and will become Lynne Cheney in an untitled project about former Vice President Dick Cheney.
