Off the grid: Robert Pattinson admitted he prefers to live a private life, and that would stay 'silent' in the public eye if given the chance, in an interview whit GQ
Covering the front of the magazine's September issue, the actor was typically slick and suave in a grey checked suit, stylishly paired with a casual black shirt, unbuttoned at the chest.
Tying his look together with smart patent loafers, the Harry Potter star then left his hair in its famously unkempt style, to maintain a hint of his trademark style.
While he earned his heartthrob status after starring as vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight, Robert admitted he was now keen to dismiss his fame - and simply focus on challenging himself with 'different, physical and edgy' roles instead.

The real me: Before adding: 'People are always changing, and the more you put something down in print, people form opinions and they’re constantly creating who they think you are'
Explaining that escaping public attention simply 'involves effort', the actor revealed he was forced to ride around in the boots of cars, and order multiple Ubers at a time, in order to throw admirers off the scent.
Reflecting on how he avoids being noticed, he reflected on celebrity culture: 'There are ways to disappear, like, fairly easily. It just involves effort, and most people can't be bothered to put the effort in.'
Keeping to his word, he also refused to discuss his romance with singer FKA Twigs, who he has been dating for over three years.
However, the actor did get candid about why they remain so private in an interview with Sirius XM in July, explaining: 'For whatever reason with Twilight – I don’t know whether it is a specific thing with the audience – there’s like a crack group of crazies that think every single decision you’re making is either creating some kind of conspiracy…
'So you kind of think, like, to protect it, I want to create a big boundary.'
