Beauty in black: Billie Lourd talks American Horror Story: Cult at TCA panel... as it emerges she'll inherit late mom Carrie Fisher's $25million estate
Billie Lourd was on a panel promoting American Horror Story: Cult at the The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California Wednesday, as news broke she stood to inherit her late mother Carrie Fisher's $18 million estate as well as $6.8 million in cash.
The 25-year-old actress wore a black top with a dress with glimmering gold embellishments and her wavy blonde tresses parted and down, coordinating with gold heels and gold hoop earrings.
Lourd sat alongside co-stars Alison Pill, Sarah Paulson, Adina Porter and Leslie Grossman as part of the 2017 Summer Television Critics Association tour.

Lourd, who makes her debut on the show after working with creator Ryan Murphy on Scream Queens, said the seventh incarnation of the American Horror Story series shows 'less of [her] comedic side and more of [her] dark side.
'I do have emotions this time, which is really exciting,' the actress added, noting that American Horror Story: Cult 'is straight-up horror drama.'
Lourd was on the promotional trail as a petition for probate was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday, confirming that the third-generation Hollywood star - who lost her mother and grandmother Debbie Reynolds on back-to-back days last year - was in line to inherit the Star Wars star's fortune.

The news came as Dennis King, who was appointed the trustee of Fisher's living trust asked the court to dismiss a previous request that Fisher's assets be included in her trust.
Among the assets Fisher left behind included art, jewelry, luxury vehicles, movie residuals, ownership in various business ventures and rights to proceeds from the sale of the $18 million Beverly Hills estate where she and Reynolds lived.
Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the Star Wars anthology, initially had a heart attack on a December 23 flight from London to Los Angeles. She died at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles four days later on December 27.

According to People, Lourd, whose father is agent Bryan Lourd, 56, was the estate's sole beneficiary.
