Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss sentenced to 90 days in prison following arrest for meth possession just days after release from jail

Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss, who played goalie Goldberg, has been sentenced to 90 days behind bars.

The actor, 38, was arrested for possession of suspected methamphetamine earlier this week after reports of a man stumbling around yards near the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank, California.

Weiss will now have to serve 90 days in county jail, police officials confirmed to Page Six, just days after his release from prison.

The actor will appear in court again on September 22. 

The arrest comes just five days after he was released from jail after serving 12 out of a 150-day sentence for stealing $151 of goods from an electronics store.

His manager Don Gibble said at the time :'[Shaun] hopes jail will help him,' adding, 'Maybe while he is in jail he will write something.

'Hopefully when he gets out he will go to rehab so he can stay sober,' he told Page Six.  

It's been a troubled few years for 90s child star who had a restraining order issued against him by an ex-girlfriend in 2013. 

She claimed he punched her, threatened to kill her with a machete and also peed on her while saying 'This is all you're worth.'

A judge dismissed the case and dissolved the restraining order against Weiss after his ex-girlfriend failed to show up to court.

The Mighty Ducks was initially released in 1992 and tells the comical story of a coed kids' hockey team, Team USA. 

After suffering from an embarrassing loss against Team Iceland, Team USA regroups to defeat their rival country and win the Junior Goodwill Games.

The Mighty Ducks was followed by D2: The Might Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks.

D2 was considered to be the most successful of the three.
