Stuck in the nineties! Jerry Seinfeld wears his signature jeans and sneakers combo as he steps out in Sydney for comedy tour

He's back in Australia for his first stand-up tour Down Under in almost two decades.

And Jerry Seinfeld's fashion sense appears to be still stuck in the 1990s when he last toured the country, the legendary comedian wearing his signature ensemble on Thursday.

The 63-year-old wore a jeans and sneakers combo as he went for a walk around Sydney's Olympic Park ahead of his comedy show that evening.

Jerry, who is performing in Sydney again on Friday night, wore his trademark combo of bootleg jeans and sneakers as he went for a stroll around Olympic Park.

The Seinfeld star paired his jeans with a grey jumper and baseball cap, waving enthusiastically to fans as he walked by.

Jerry is in Sydney for the last leg of his stand-up tour, having previously performed in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane.

During his time in Melbourne, the comedian posed for photos at a mural depicting the now-viral moment he refused singer Kesha a hug.

In June Jerry repeatedly refused to hug the singer after she interrupted his red carpet interview.

Jerry posed in front of the mural hugging his longtime manager George Shapiro, explaining in the caption that the pair were 'enjoying Melbourne'.

'Oh my God, Adelaide! You know how many years I've been wanting to come to Adelaide? Never. I've never wanted to come to Adelaide,' Jerry told a sold-out audience, before adding:  'And yet I'm thrilled to be here.'

It comes after Jerry famously referred to Melbourne as 'the anus of the world' during a 1998 visit to Australia.
