The statement to Variety also said: 'As Lady Gaga's legal team will present to the court, she has provided all of the relevant information in her possession and is at most an ancillary witness in their process.'

Dr. Luke subpoenaed the 31-year-old singer testify in court instead of her sending a written statement, according to TMZ.

The text messages allegedly are of Kesha asking Lady Gaga to join in on a 'smear campaign against' Dr. Luke.

He is in the midst of suing Kesha; he claims that the singer falsely accused him of raping her after drugging her.

Dr. Luke says she told Gaga to promote the hashtag of Free Kesha on social media.

His lawyers previously subpoenaed a copy of the exchange but the one they obtained was heavily redacted.

Page Six spoke to his lawyer, Jeffrey Movit, who said the messages were 'heavily redacted' and 'one of the four pages was redacted in its entirety.'

He also told Page Six that Lady Gaga has 'refused to remove' them because the redacted texts are 'private matters.'

Dr. Luke has asked for Gaga to be deposed since March of this year.

His lawyer added that Lady Gaga had said she's unavailable, due to her busy touring and acting schedule.

TMZ says Dr. Luke wants Lady Gaga have a 'face-to-face' with his lawyers for only up to three hours.
