Although Madonna and Tracy Anderson worked together for three years, the two women and former close friends had an infamous falling out in 2009 and have been icy ever since.
And now, the 42-year-old fitness guru, who has made millions from her Tracy Anderson Method, has spoken candidly about the star.
Speaking to The Times, the mother-of-two said: 'Madonna can demand whatever she wants to demand, she's Madonna, that's just what it is. It wasn't working for me because my demands are, like, I have a kid.
'When I missed my son's saxophone concert because of a training session with her, I was like "I can't do this anymore. That was it for me.'
Madonna's ex-personal trainer Tracey Anderson, right, has revealed she stopped working with the singer after being forced to miss her son's concert because of the 'demanding' star
Tracy was introduced to Madonna in 2006 by Gwyneth Paltrow, who had met her in the trainer's Los Angeles studio.
Madonna soon became a convert of Tracy's two hour, six days a week workouts and creditted her with putting her body 'back together' after her riding accident in 2005.
In 2009, Madonna gushed: 'Tracy Anderson is my saviour. After two Caesareans, three hernia operations and one riding accident that left me with 10 broken bones, she was the only one who could pull my body back together into one piece.'
Madonna's sculpted body proved the perfect business card for Tracy, who opened a second gym in New York with Gwyneth and released fitness DVD Tracy Anderson Method.

Stand out in pinstripe pants by Miaou
Tracy Anderson is known for sculpting some of the best bodies in the business. She counts Gwyneth Paltrow as a long time client and friend. So it's no surprise when Tracey showed up at the GOOP pop-up in an outfit designed to maximize her petite but strong build. She lengthened her legs in a pair of pinstripe pants by Miaou.
But these weren't your typical trousers. Tracy's cropped version was embellished with oversized grommets at the waist and a chain that connected from front to back.
We've spotted this same style on Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga, so Tracy is in very good company. She teamed hers with a white tank and heels but we'd just as soon wear them with a bodysuit and slip on sneakers for a casual weekend excursion.

Speaking of her fitness programme with the pop star, Tracy said: 'We train for two hours six days a week. We do 45 minutes of dance aerobics, followed by work on muscle tone, flexibility and definition.
'There's no running and no weights bigger than three pounds, because Madonna doesn't want to bulk up.
'Madonna's body is perfect. She has no fat, no cellulite, she is so toned, and her arms are amazing.'
Tracey Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow are business partners. Together they've produced four exercise DVDs - each of which has sold in excess of 20,000 copies in Britain alone - and a book, Tracy Anderson's 30-Day Method
But after three years together doing daily workouts, Madonna parted ways with her personal trainer in 2009.
The former dancer and savvy Gwyneth Paltrow are, however, still on good terms and now business partners. Together they've produced four exercise DVDs - each of which has sold in excess of 20,000 copies in Britain alone - and a book, Tracy Anderson's 30-Day Method.
Speaking about working with the actress, Tracy revealed that Gwyneth struggled with the method at first because she rarely walked anywhere because of the paparazzi.
'Bless her heart, she couldn't do cardio. Her feet hurt and I had to get a mini trampoline for her and she was so cute,' Anderson said.
In a piece she wrote for The Telegraph, Gwyneth revealed that working with Tracy has completely changed her body.
She said: 'Still, when I first started working with Tracy, finding motivation was hard. She advised me to think of exercise as an automatic routine, no different from brushing your teeth, to avoid getting distracted. Now it is part of my life.'
Cheryl also praised the trainer's method and in an interview with Glamour in 2014, Cheryl said: 'I do the Tracy Anderson method. I've been doing it for a long time now. It's not easy but if you push yourself through, I love it.'
Tracy trained Madonna on two world tours but after three years together doing daily workouts, Madonna parted ways with her personal trainer in 2009
Tracy is totally against other forms of cardio, such as running, where you repeat your movements over and over. That, she says, will bulk muscles
