'Living in a dream': Flipping Out's Jenni Pulos ecstatic after having second child amid daunting IVF regimen

Flipping Out's Jenni Pulos said she feels 'miracles are possible' and that she's 'living in a dream' every time she sees her infant daughter Georgia Grace, after undergoing a grueling two-year regimen of IVF treatments to pave her way to the maternity ward.

'It feels amazing to be a mom-of-two, especially because we went through a lot to have her,' the 44-year-old told US Weekly Wednesday, just more than two months after she welcomed the baby June 7 with her surgeon spouse, Dr. Jonathan Nassos. The couple also have a four-year-old girl named Alianna.

The Bravo beauty said she suffered a miscarriage prior to becoming pregnant with her first child Alianna, leaving her with mixed emotions.

'I was grieving for the miscarriage,' she said, 'but overjoyed about the new pregnancy.'

She described the four-year-plus gap in between having her two kids as 'a long road,' as she and Nassos had 'a lot of trouble' on their journey to the delivery room for a second time.

Pulos told the outlet that in trying to have her second child, her first stint at IVF didn't work, but during the second attempt, doctors told her she had a single viable embryo.

Pulos said that after she became pregnant with Georgia, she suffered complications after receiving a bad dose of a hormone she was taking called progesterone.

'I was on IV antibiotics for 10 days, I had to go to the ER,' she said. 'I thought I was going to lose the pregnancy after all that I’d been through.'

Pulos stressed that women 'have to be emotionally in the right place' when committing to undergoing the IVF treatments, and dedicated to seeing them through.

'If you’re thinking, "I don’t know if I’m ready for this and I don’t know if I can handle the shots and what if it doesn’t work out," give yourself a break and come back when you are really committed,' said Pulos, who released her memoir Grin and Bear It: How to Be Happy No Matter What Reality Throws Your Way in 2014.

The one-time rapper said that the baby has grown close to her older sister Alianna, and that she gets emotional seeing them bond.

'When we finally got to the finish line of her being born, it was so incredibly rewarding.'

The reality star was overjoyed as she announced the birth of Georgia on Instagram in June.

'Welcome to the world our sweet Georgia Grace Nassos!' she wrote online, followed by another photo with the caption: 'Definition of miracle: Noun An extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs.'

She told People at the time:  'A long and rocky path led to the most beautiful destination. Our hearts are exploding with joy.'
