A good enough reason to celebrate! EastEnders' Brooke Kinsella cracks open the champagne as she reunites with former on-screen lover Chris Parker more than TEN years later

Their characters Kelly Taylor and Spencer Moon enjoyed a whirlwind romance on the set of EastEnders until 2004.

And Brooke Kinsella and Chris Parker, 33, showed their friendship is still going strong more than a decade later when they were reunited in the West End on Thursday.

The actress, 34, secured the gaze of her on-screen lover in a striking scarlet floral frock which showcased her sensational figure, teamed with sky-high heels.

For added glamour, Brooke pinned her golden locks off her face in a low bun and accessorised with a tote bag for the special occasion.

Meanwhile, Chris looked dapper in a slim-fitted navy jumper complete with chinos for their meet up.

Delighted to be in each other's company, the pair proved inseparable as they sashayed down the streets. 

Pleased as punch, the beauty cracked open the champagne bottle - their reunion being a good enough reason to celebrate.

Having had a lovely day, the EastEnders beauty shared a collage of throwback photographs of their characters together on social media.

Accompanying the photos, Brooke tweeted: 'Never 'appier than when I'm spending time with this one. Belly hurts from laughing.'

Kelly's first big storyline was her romance with the nephew of Alfie in 2002.

The young couple's yearning for love is put on the back burner for a while as they pursue different things in the soap.

But they court attention once again in a series of episodes in 2004 when they share a string of steamy smooches.

Their romance, however, is not meant to be as Kelly meets another man when she is out in Ibiza, leaving Spencer behind.

Despite both Brooke and Chris leaving their show following their characters' final split, the pair have remained fast friends in real life.
