Bonnie Tyler is set to perform her hit song Total Eclipse of the Heart during a solar eclipse next week.
The acclaimed Welsh singer, 66, will be belting out the eighties power ballad as a guest performer on a cruise ship in America next week - during the spectacle where the Earth's surface will be plunged into darkness.
Speaking of the upcoming once in a lifetime gig, which is set to occur on Monday, the songstress told TIME: 'It’s going to be so exciting. It doesn’t happen very often, does it?'

A solar eclipse is when the moon passes between the Sun and Earth, the perfect alignment of which causing complete darkness for a short amount of time.
After a long 99 years, all of North America will witness the rare astronomical phenomenon, seen from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean, on Monday.
And given the rare celestial display, Bonnie has been roped in to perform her iconic tune on board the Oasis of the Seas cruise, which is set to depart Orlando, Florida. for the Caribbean the day prior and will be positioned in the path of totality.
Ensuring that it is truly a magical moment for all the passengers on board, as well as herself, the songstress has had to rearrange the famous tune about heartache.

The UK will only see a partial eclipse just before sunset on Monday and will have to wait until September 23, 2090 for the next total solar eclipse
The moon will block out 10 per cent of the sun's diameter, and 2 per cent of its area, with dark sun spots speckling the sun's surface
Starting around 7.30pm, the peak of the eclipse will be visible at around 8.04pm in London, at 7.58pm in Edinburgh and at 8.05pm in Cardiff. It should last around 40 minutes in total.
The partial eclipse can only take place at New Moon, as this is when the Moon passes directly between the Earth and the Sun
The last total solar eclipse in the UK was on August 1, 1999, over Cornwall and South Devon – but was for most observers almost completely blocked by clouds.
