Corden Bennett! James quite literally lets it all hang out as he performs hilarious musical segment for The Late Late Show with Lin-Manuel Miranda on the streets of Los Angeles

James Corden gave pedestrians rather more than they bargained for while filming a new comedy skit with Lin-Manual Miranda on the streets of Los Angeles.

The sketch, which aired on Thursday’s edition of The Late Late Show, saw the British star strip off to perform songs from hugely popular stage show Hair for his recurring Crosswalk: The Musical segment.

Joined by Broadway star Lin-Manuel, 37, whose theatre credits include Les Misérables and Hamilton, James, 38, left little to the imagination as they worked their way through a rendition of Aquarius with the rest of the cast on Beverly Boulevard.

In keeping with the musical’s sixties setting, the presenter sports a long blonde wig and headband – but little else – after stopping traffic on the bustling crosswalk.

Due to CBS and the State of California advising them not to strip naked in the street, Corden and his group settled for flesh coloured underwear as they worked their way through the track.

The group had previously startled drivers by wearing flared hippie inspired ensembles while waving multi-coloured placards and

Lin-Manuel then climbed up on a nearby car for added dramatic effect, before striking a final pose with his arms high in the air.

Clearly pleased with their work, the two men embraced while still sporting only underwear, shoes and wigs.

As the production came to a wrap, Lin-Manuel could be seen grabbing Corden's bottom as they walked with their arms around each other's shoulders.

The taping took place directly outside of CBS Studios where Corden films The Late Late Show.

It is not the first time the pair have collaborated for The Late Late Show.

In 2016, before James' hosting gig for the Tony Awards, he had Miranda on as a Carpool Karaoke passenger.

They were joined in the segment by Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jane Krakowski for the musical feature.

As of Tuesday, that clip has over 21 million views on YouTube.

In addition to the Carpool Karaoke segments on The Late Late Show, James also recently launched an Apple Music series based off the viral sensation.
