She recently obtained her California state learner's permit that allows her to drive as long as a California license owner over the age of 25 is present.

And on Wednesday, it was a big day for Kaia Gerber, 15, who gave pumping her own gas its first go.

The daughter of iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford, who is following in her mother's footsteps, uploaded a video of her attempt to Instagram Stories.

Pump it: Kaia Gerber, 15, shared a video with fans as she attempted to maneuver a gas pump on Wednesday for the first time ever

'My 1st attempt at getting gas lol,' she wrote on top of the short clip of her wrangling the gas nozzle.

Kaia wore a black newsboy cap over her chestnut locks as she maneuvered the self-service station at Chevron.

Her slender model figure was covered by a tiny white bandeau top and high-waisted light blue denim jeans.

Gerber missed a golden opportunity to re-create her mother Cindy Crawford's famous 1992 Pepsi commercial that took place at a gas station.

Luckily, her mother just re-created the ad herself during a segment with Vogue's 73 Questions.

Kaia recently revealed that she finally realized her mother was famous when she was eight years old in the latest issue of Teen Vogue.

'I think it was only on my eighth birthday, at Disneyland, that I started to understand what was going on,' she told the magazine.

'I wanted to take pictures with the princesses, and everyone wanted to take pictures with her!'

Nowadays, Kaia has become a celebrity herself, with 1.5 million followers on Instagram, and the double life of a high school student who is currently slated to experience her first major runway season in the fall.

Kaia's father Rande Gerber was spotted in May getting a lift from his daughter after a night out at Nobu in Malibu.

Gerber, co-founder of Casamigos Tequila with George Clooney, is said to be thrilled about having his daughter as his designated driver, according to TMZ.

In addition to their daughter, Cindy and Rande also have model son Presley Gerber, who is signed to IMG Model Management like his sister.
