Kelly LeBrock was one of the biggest supermodels in the Eighties. She parlayed her catwalk success into a movie career when she starred in the hits Weird Science with Anthony Michael Hall and The Woman In Red alongside Gene Wilder.

But then she started a family with action star Steven Seagal, now 65, and settled down in a remote area of Southern California.

The pinup told Closer Weekly magazine: 'I decided to quit Hollywood to raise my babies away from the limelight. I didn't want them looking into any of the negative aspects of my divorce. So I ran for the hills, and I've basically been living in the wilderness with no TV for 24 years.'

On Wednesday evening the Vogue cover vet was back in the spotlight as she showed off one of her daughters, the stunning model Arissa, 24, at Lifetime's Growing Up Supermodel premiere in Studio City, California.

'Now that I’m more mature and wrinkled — I actually do have wrinkles! — I’m much more comfortable in my skin. I’m happy with who I am and where I am.'

The beauty also said getting curves was different for her.

'As I reached puberty, I started to get "those" curves. Having a supportive mother, I was proud to be a vivacious, curvy woman, as she taught me that beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' she said.

'When I didn’t always feel that way, I would remind myself of my mother’s words. I am healthy, happy, curvy and am going to New York to pursue my dreams,' she added.
