Moussa Oukabir, who is believed to have been driving the van, is thought to be dead according to reports in Spain. Mohamed Hychami (top right), Younes Abouyaaqoub (centre top) and Said Aallaa (centre bottom) have been named as suspected members of the 12-strong terror cell which plotted Europe's latest terrorist outrage. Authorities have yet to officially identify the jihadi who mowed down tourists in a hire van on Barcelona's Las Ramblas, but the prime suspect is Oukabir (left and bottom right), who is thought to have hired the van using his older brother's ID. Hychami, 24, and Abouyaaqoub, 22, are said to come from the same small town in the north of Spain as Oukabir, while Allaa, 18, comes from the nearby village of Ribes de Freser.

The desperate family of seven-year-old Julian Cadman (top right), who was born in Kent but living in Australia, have been appealing for any information after he went missing during the terror attack. Heidi Nunes, from California, is also searching for her husband Jared Tucker, 43 (together top left), after they got separated during the attack. Meanwhile Bruno Gulotta, an Italian father of two young children (centre, below) was named among the dead. Spanish authorities say 57-year-old Francisco Lopez Rodriguez (pictured bottom right on Las Ramblas moments before the attack) died on the spot. Luca Russo, 25, an engineer from Padua, in Italy, was also confirmed among the dead. He was on holiday alongside his girlfriend Marta Scomazzon (together bottom left). In total 14 people were killed in both attacks, with 130 people from 34 different countries left wounded, including 17 in critical condition.

His possessions have been piled up in a corner (left and top right) after anti-terror police searched the humble ground-floor flat on the outskirts of Ripoll, 86 miles from Barcelona(bottom right). A shisha pipe with a dirty tobacco filter sits on a low table, a carpet is rolled up, chairs and tables are stacked. An old bicycle is covered by blankets. Building supplies are hidden underneath. The flat, where Moussa Oukabir lived with his mother and two sisters, was raided this morning by anti-terrorist police.

WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT. The video filmed in the immediate aftermath of yesterday's terror attack in Barcelona shows the uniformed officer holding the child close to his body. An elderly woman, possibly the child's grandmother, is lifted from the ground as she picks up the youngster's buggy. A second policeman and another man, possibly a family member, can be seen attending to the motionless victim behind them. The elderly woman was later pictured holding the child safely in her arms as a wheel from the child's buggy lies in the middle of the street.

In the moving video, a wall of people can be seen giving a resounding chorus of applause to the uniformed officers in Plaza de Catalonia, Barcelona. A number of police vans can also be seen lining the avenue. The video was uploaded to Twitter earlier today and has been shared thousands of times. The uploader said: 'Spontaneous applause and recognition [for the police] today in Plaza de Catalonia.' One commenter wrote online: 'Thank you for protecting us... you are heroes and never paid enough.'

White House's chief strategist Steve Bannon will soon leave the Trump administration, with the president telling aides on Friday that he would remove him at an unspecified future date. The New York times reports that a person close to Bannon insists it was his idea, and that he submitted a resignation letter on August 7. A White House aide told DailyMail.com on Friday that Bannon submitted an offer of his resignation on August 7, but would not say whether Trump had accepted it at that time. Trump and Bannon are still discussing Bannon's precise future, according to the Times. White House officials did not immediately confirm the reported move, which would send the most conservative leader in the Trump West Wing out after less than eight months.

Coleen Rooney has announced she is expecting her fourth child with footballer husband Wayne. Sharing the news on social media, Coleen admitted she was relieved to finally confirm her pregnancy after weeks of 'protecting' the growing baby bump during her various public appearances. Taking to Twitter, she wrote: 'So Happy!!! ..... Never denied the news, but I was always protecting it!! Had scan & all checks are fine.....Baby number 4 is on its way.'

A family on vacation were forced to perform a terrifying car stunt better suited to an action movie when the drawbridge they were on opened up beneath them. The Naphys family were driving across New Jersey's Middle Thorofare Bridge (pictured left and right weeks after the incident), which crosses deep bay water, when it began to lift three-to-six feet beneath them. At that point driver Terence Naphys (pictured top center; wife Jacquelyn below) did the only thing he could - he floored the gas and leaped as many as six feet over to the other side of the bridge. 'It's scary what's going through your mind,' Naphys told NBC 4 . 'We could have all landed in the water.'

Alton Towers amputee Leah Washington and her boyfriend Joe Pugh paddled in the sea during their holiday of a lifetime in Marbella. The couple were on their first proper date when the Smiler rollercoaster carriage smashed into a stationary train at the Staffordshire theme park in June 2015. Leah, 19, from Barnsley, was one of two young passengers who lost a leg while her boyfriend Joe, suffered devastating injuries himself including two shattered kneecaps. They have stayed together since the tragedy and are enjoying a summer break together in Spain where they have soaked up the sun, sipped cocktails by the pool and looked adoringly at each other on a walk through Marbella's old town.

Vivienne Harrison (left), from Derby, claims her granddaughter Megan Morrison was 'lying' when she told police she was raped by her husband Malcolm, 74, between the ages of eight and 10. The 62-year-old grandmother (right with her late husband) spoke out after her estranged granddaughter, 17, wrote a letter begging for a reconciliation. In the note Miss Morrison said she was sticking by her story about her grandfather's abuse but hoped to rekindle her 'strong relationship' with her grandmother. 'It's all lies and she's wicked for taking away from me the best person in the world,' Mrs Harrison exclusively to MailOnline. Mrs Harrison described her late husband as 'a true gent and perfect father and grandfather who would never harm a soul'. He denied the charges last year and was found dead on July 31 in a burning car in a suspected suicide on the final day of his trial. Mrs Harrison said she refuses to speak to Miss Morrison, whom she once doted on, and her mother Vanessa White (together inset) since the 'false' accusations were made 'out of the blue'.

Eric (inset left) and Whitney Miller (inset right), were filmed being kicked off a Frontier Airlines flight on Wednesday in Orlando. The father and daughter had a reported profanity-laced confrontation with the crew over a private conversation. The incident began when the Millers claim they were quietly discussing their displeasure with Frontier over an eight-hour delay and the poor customer service they were receiving. A flight attendant claimed she felt threatened and had them removed. Frontier Airlines maintains they shouted profanities at crew members.

Matthew Thatcher (inset), 26, and his half-sister Emily Thomson (right), 18, were jailed along with Mandy Wright (left),28, of Cardiff, for targeting three children in a sustained catalogue of abuse. The three defendants admitted to 36 counts relating to the sexual abuse of the three children aged under 16. Cardiff Crown Court heard yesterday that Thatcher and Thomson took photographs of themselves sexually assaulting the children and sent graphic messages about the abuse. The defence for Thomson, of Neath, said she was 'blinded with her infatuation'  for her brother and 'did not view him as a relative'.

Desperate families were fleeing to the safety of neighbouring villages after their homes were taken over by floodwater in the Araria district of the Indian state of Bihar. A single bridge provided the only route across the overflowing river Kosi, and locals were forced to run across, despite the river undercutting its foundations. Chilling footage (above) captured the tragic moment the bridge gave way just as a husband, wife and their child tried to make the crossing yesterday. The woman and child plummeted into the waters below while the man was hauled to safety by villagers.

Pearl Black, 22 months, from South Wales, died after being struck by a collapsing wall which was hit by a runaway vehicle. She was taken to hospital in Merthyr Tydfil but died a short while after. She was the daughter of star of The Voice's Paul Black, and was with him and her brother Acer when the tragedy happened.
