- What is the difference between phone trades and broker-assisted trades?

A phone trade is any trade placed by the investor by phone. A broker-assisted trade is any trade placed by a broker/financial consultant. Note that an investor can call a broker/financial consultant for help with a trade without a charge, as long as the investor, not the broker, actually places the trade.
