'I didn't take my decision lightly': Sarah Harding admits she has no regrets on dating Chad Johnson in the CBB house whilst her 'devastated' boyfriend watched from home

Her tempestuous relationship with Chad in the Celebrity Big Brother House had audiences rapt.

And now Sarah Harding, 35, has revealed she has no regrets about cheating on her boyfriend Aaron, 33, despite him witnessing her indiscretions.

The former Girls Aloud singer told the Daily Star: 'I was in a very brief relationship before I went into the house - It was a matter of weeks, so it wasn't very serious.'

Explaining how the house atmosphere intensifies relationships, Sarah revealed that each day in the house feels like a week and her relationship with Chad felt like something long term. 

She admitted:  'It was a very careful consideration it wasn't taken lightly - I was in a very unfortunate situation where I wasn't in a position to deal with it properly.'

Aaron, 33, is said to be 'devastated' by the way Sarah has treated him.

But the singer insisted to having no regrets choosing rather to learn from her mistakes, and hinted she will not be in contact with Aaron about her antics on CBB.

Meanwhile the star spoke to The Sun about the moment she appeared to perform a 'sex act' on Chad and admitted she hasn't yet watched her back her moments with The Bachelor star on the reality series. 

Sarah said: 'You do forget the cameras are there sometimes and the only time you get to spend together sometimes is when you're in bed at the end of the day.'

The singer had controversially struck up a romance with Chad during her time on Celebrity Big Brother, despite entering the house while in a relationship. 

Fans saw Sarah confess that she had been in a four-week romance with a secret boyfriend on the outside - who was later uncovered to be 'heartbroken' plasterer Aaron Lacey. 

Choosing to pursue Chad instead, Sarah's amorous behaviour with her housemate had left fans questioning whether the duo had sex in the house, with the blonde beauty denying such claims when questioned by Paul Danan.

Paul had quizzed Sarah on the scenes that had seen her getting close with Chad and asking him: 'Can you feel that there?' before pulling the duvet over the couple's heads. 

Sarah denied anything more had gone on, telling Paul in response: 'We haven't done the deed- we wouldn't do that on TV, I'm paranoid my mum's watching.

'We were kissing. I can't believe people have been saying that, how are they twisting that? We haven't had sex!'

She then crudely added: 'We've had a grope, he has a semi every morning, let alone with me giving it a rub!'

Hot and heavy: And her intimate displays with Chad left fans questioning whether Sarah and him had sex in the house, prompting her to deny things had progressed between them

The steamy encounter was subsequently investigated by Ofcom, following a series of complaints from viewers of the Channel 5 show. 

An Ofcom spokesperson told MailOnline: 'We will assess these complaints before deciding whether or not to investigate.'

It's understood that Channel 5 producers heavily edited the provocative exchange between Sarah and Chad, whose budding romance has been a key theme during the current series of Celebrity Big Brother.

A show insider told The Sun: 'There's a lot of heavy petting going down between the couple. Sarah's hand disappeared under the covers and Chad's boxers came off.

A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline. 

During Friday night's live final, Sarah was crowned the winner of the series, beating the likes of Amelia Lily and Sam Thompson who finished in second and third place respectively and bagging the show's £50k prize for her chosen charity.

Host Emma Willis had grilled her during her exit interview about her relationship with Chad and the tricky situation she found herself in, as she had ties elsewhere on her debut. 

Defending her relationship with Chad, Sarah said: 'I was in a short term relationships, a matter of weeks. What people don't realise is when you're in the house it feels longer.

'After what we went through it couldn't compare to what I had on the outside briefly, we'd been through the mill together.' she said of her previous relationship.

'We're going to see what happens but I would like to see a future with him,' she added of Chad, before Emma joked 'It's Friday.. what gets to happen?' before someone from the crowd shouted 'sex!'.

Chad, meanwhile, had hit back at claims he and Sarah had been faking their 'romance', after fans and some of their former housemates accused them of putting on a 'showmance'.

The US hunk said it 'hurt' to think that people thought they were faking their feelings for each other. 

Fans had vented their frustration at the new found couple on Twitter and commenting on the nature of Chad and Sarah's relationship, they penned: 'Sarah and Chad are making it so obvious it's a showmance when everything they do can be seen by everyone! Cringe...

'Chad went in looking for a showmance, which is why he went from amelia to sarah. They wont last outside of the house.

'How long do you give Sarah and Chad's fake af showmance? A month, a week or til the magazine's wake up and smell the coffee?

Future: Expressing her hopes for the pair to continue their relationship, Sarah added: 'We're going to see what happens but I would like to see a future with him'

'So now we've about 8 weeks of chad & sarah madly promoting their showmance, before flogging their bitter break up for rest of the year.

'They was living together for 25 days, it's all fake literally, If you think the romance was real wait until Sarah and Chad prove you wrong.'

Others, however, made sure to show the couple their support, with one fan tweeting: 'sarah & chad make a great couple , hope it works out for them . Sooo glad sarah won , wish chad had come second.'

Another agreed: 'Well done Sarah. I'm so happy you won. Good luck to you and Chad. Have a great future.'

Despite viewers seeing the duo express their excitement at having some alone time together when they finally got back on the outside, Sarah was seen leaving the show wrap party alone, while Chad headed back to a hotel with former X Factor star Amelia and Jemma Lucy.
