Bronson, who has largely been in jail since 1974, says he wants a daughter and already knows it'll be called Sophie.

Speaking to Richard Madeley on ITV's Good Morning Britain his fiancee Paula said: 'I want his baby. He's my future husband'.

But with conjugal rights still being denied Richard asked her: 'How do you plan to get pregnant? and Paula responded: 'I think it would have to be a case of medical science would help.

She went on: 'I'm 37 now and the realisation hit me that, what if he does spend the next three years in prison?

'He's 64 now and we might want to have a baby, that's something we've seriously considered.

'He was a criminal, but right now all he is doing is charity work. He's not going to be in prison forever, I will make sure of that.

'We will live a happy life together, I will not give up. This is real. I genuinely love the man. I am going to marry this man, we're waiting on a date now. It's time for him to come home now.'

Mr Madeley then asked: 'We know that criminal behaviour is quite often linked to genetics, what if you have another Charles Bronson?' he asked.

She hit back: 'No one in his family are criminals'.

Richard Madeley also asked: 'What are you playing at?',  and Paula replied: 'I have fallen in love with a man. Why is it so hard to believe?

She added: 'It's who he is on the inside. He is an artist, charity fitness fanatic and loving person. He wouldn't frighten me. he has a heart of gold'.

Their baby plans emerged when a Sunday newspaper said Bronson was demanding sex visits so he can become a father.

The 64-year-old said he wants to have a daughter with actress Paula Williamson having spent the majority of the past four decades imprisoned for a series of violent crimes.

But despite his past, he believes he will be an ideal father and is calling on the justice system to allow him to become a father after hours.

The criminal, who currently resides in HMP Wakefield, told reportedly told a friend: 'Ten years ago in this very jail they started giving out condoms so where I come from that's encouraging sex. Why can't I have sex like they do here? I want to be a dad and come out to a beautiful angel with a beautiful wife.'

The lifer whose crimes include kidnap and threatening to eat a terrified inmate told newspaper The People: 'I want a little baby. I've always fancied a daughter and I'll be the best dad in the world.

He added: 'I've even got my girl's name, Sophie, the angel of all angels. My life will be a dream come true.'

Britain's most violent prisoner, 64, proposed to Paula Williamson by serenading her with a personalised version of the Frank Sinatra classic My Way from a HMP Wakefield pay phone.

They are getting married even though though they met for the first time last September - and only three times since then.

Their only physical contact has been 'kissing through bars' and she now has a 'ritual' of seductively eating a banana in front of Bronson 'for his viewing pleasure.'

The former Coronation Street actress, 36, has repeatedly denied that she is marrying Bronson as a publicity stunt to relaunch her career.

He had a diamond cluster ring delivered before asking her 'Do you want to be my missus?'.

The 64-year-old sang 'Our Way', altering some of the lyrics, and sang: 'We've lived a crazy life and travelled in and out of darkness. But more, much more than this, we did it our way.'

The couple exchanged letters while Bronson was engaged to his former partner Lorraine Etherington, secretary of the Charles Bronson Art Foundation which raises money for charity by promoting his drawings.

He proposed to her in 2015 but the couple later split and it is believed he did not meet Miss Williamson until after the end of that relationship.

Bronson, who has been married twice and engaged three times, is believed to have saved up for the ring despite previously getting 'knock-off versions' for his partners.

The notorious prisoner and former bare-knuckle boxer was first jailed in 1974 and has spent a total of 41 years in prison, having had his sentence increased previously for attacking fellow inmates and taking people hostage.

The pair are said to be 'determined to make the relationship work' despite him being in prison.

Bronson – whose life was made into a 2009 film starring Tom Hardy as the prisoner - has been married twice before, first to Irene Bronson, whom he divorced in 1977 after a five-year marriage.

The couple had one child - Michael - who was born in 1970.   Bronson then married Fatema Saira Rehman, a Bangladeshi-born divorcee, in 2001 after the pair had corresponded after she saw a picture of him in a newspaper.

He briefly converted to Islam during the second marriage, which ended after four years.

Asked about whether their marriage would go the same way Paula said earlier this year: 'I am a different person to what she is'.
