It will be the second time the 54-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star has sold the estate, which is situated outside of Lexington.

The actor first snapped it up in 1995 for $950,000, and sold it in 2001 for $1 million. He then bought it back through a trust in 2005 for $2 million.

Listing agent Gary Denton of Rector Hayden Realtors has said he doesn’t know why Depp unloaded and re-bought the property, especially as his mother Betty Sue, who died last year, had been occupying it.
