One is a world-famous actress, the other an airline marketing executive.

And despite the contrast in Rebel Wilson and her sister Liberty's career paths, the duo share one eye-popping similarity in their near-identical appearance.

The 37-year-old and her lookalike sibling, 27, strolled the streets of New York City in almost identical ensembles with their scraped back blonde hair and make-up free features deeming them unbelievably similar.

While Rebel is a decade older than her sister, her ageless good looks mean she and Liberty were indeed near-identical.

The pair cut casual figures in black leggings and black Nike T-shirts, keeping their blonde hair hidden under black baseball caps - with their lookalike outfits second only to their incredibly similar looks.

The only difference in their looks was leggings, in which Liberty's had a purple insert at the leg while the actress' were all black.

They both donned stylish sunglasses and multi-coloured Nike sneakers, and carried their mobile phones as they crossed the street. The sibling also have other sister called Annachi as well as a brother, Ryot.

Rebel, who is shooting Isn't It Romantic over the summer in America, recently bought a two-bedroom apartment for $3.85 million in New York's upmarket TriBeCa in July.

She joined Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lawrence, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Lewis Hamilton, Meg Ryan and Jake Gyllenhaal in the same complex.

The building’s amenities include a 24-hour doorman and concierge, an indoor swimming pool and Turkish bath, a fitness centre and a kids’ playroom.
