They started dating in the late 1980s and have put on a loved-up display ever since - despite their 41-year age gap.

And Tony Bennett and his third wife Susan Crow proved they were stronger than ever on Tuesday, as they enjoyed a low-key dog walk in New York City.

The singer, 91, looked far younger than his years in a trendy sports tracksuit as he strolled the streets of Manhattan with his stunning partner, 50, and their sweet pooch Happy.

The jazz performer looked more than comfortable with his wife as they were seen happily chatting during their stroll around the Big Apple.

Proving his youthul and trendy style despite his 91 years of age, Tony seemed very sprightly in his blue Adidas tracksuit and matching trainers, as he happily wandered the city streets with his sweet pet in tow.

Meanwhile his much younger wife looked equally sporty in black running top and gym leggings - displaying her enviably slender figure for all to see.

Leaving her hair loose and face make-up free, the blonde appeared completely relaxed as she embarked on the low-key outing with her husband.

The pair married in New York back in June 2007, and are often seen stepping out together in the city.

Tony and Susan began dating in the late 1980s after his 1983 divorce from his second wife, Susan Grant.

Tony recently explained their miracle meeting memoir, Just Getting Started - admitting he had first met her parents Marion and Dayl before she was even born in 1966.

Recalling the moment he posed for a photo with the couple in San Francisco, she laughed: ' As fate would have it, Marion was pregnant at the time with … Susan! It’s a photo we all laugh about knowing the incredible turn of events that followed.'

The Crows were huge Bennett fans, and played Susan a number of his big hits, such as Because Of You and Rags To Riches, while she was growing up.

Susan became president of the singer’s Bay Area fan club as a teenager and it was around this time that she asked her future husband to pose with her for a photo when he was next in town.

'I not only agreed to say hello to her backstage, but asked her to be my date for the evening, and that’s how it really all began … foreshadowed by a backstage photo taken in 1966.'

Together they co-founded Exploring The Arts, an arts education charity, and the Frank Sinatra School Of The Arts in his hometown of Queens, New York.
