Didn't see the sign, Luis? United star Nani parks his red Chevrolet in a disabled bay

Manchester United fans will hope that Nani hasn't picked up a severe injury that is hampering his movement after the winger was spotted parking in a disabled bay.

The 26-year-old was photographed pulling his bright red Chevrolet Camaro into the spot, which was clearly marked by a sign saying 'Disabled Badge Holders Only'.

The disabled bay is meant to be for those with official permits, and are designed to provide ease of access for motorists with disabilities.

But that didn't deter the Portuguese star, who signed joined United from Sporting Lisbon in 2007, from leaving his car there for 20 minutes while out and about in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Nani earns in the region of ÂŁ130,000 a week at Old Trafford, while the average price for a car parking spot in Wilmslow for up to an hour costs a motorist an affordable 60 pence, according to Cheshire East council's figures.

It is unclear whether Nani didn't spot the sign, or couldn't find another space within the car park.
