Gogglebox stars Sandi Bogle, 51, and Sandra Martin, 55, lark around on the beach in Spain... as the CBB star helps her BFF grieve following tragic death of her sister

Her best friend Sandra Martin is currently grieving the death of her sister following a tragic battle with dementia earlier this month.

And Sandi Bogle seemed determined to support her fellow Gogglebox star whisking her away for a sun-soaked trip to Spain on Thursday.

The bikini-clad Celebrity Big Brother star, 51, appeared to be in good spirits as she larked around with Sandra, 55, on the beach and tested out some exercise machines.

Sandi looked every inch the beach babe in a khaki bikini, which featured a summery white lace trim.

Debuting a new haircut, the TV star showed off a blunt fringe and sleek locks that perfectly framed her youthful features.

Injecting a dose of sparkle to her beachside attire, Sandi rocked a pendant necklace and added some chunky embellished gold bangles.

Having been evicted from Celebrity Big Brother last week, she appeared to be relishing her time away from the Borehamwood mansion as she joked around on the beach.

Sandi, who is the cousin of Naomi Campbell, stuck close to her best friend Sandra and ensured she was always laughing during the sun-drenched outing.

Meanwhile Sandra showed off her sartorial flair in a leopard-print dress with a black skirt. 

Rocking a handcuff-motif necklace, she also added a selection of chic bead bracelets to her look.

Their outing comes after Sandra revealed her sister passed away two weeks ago.

The TV favourite took to Twitter hours after her tragic loss to announce the devastating news as she confirmed her sister died after a battle with dementia.

In her heartbreaking post, the 57-year-old penned: 'MY SISTER PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING. SHE HAD DEMENTIA. AM ON MY WAY TO SEE HER AND FAMILY'S. WANT BE ON LINE FOR FEW DAYS. BUT AM OK EVERY 1'. 

Sandra, who became a fan favourite on Gogglebox after her first appearance back in 2013, was clearly heartbroken by the news announced to her 123,000 followers.

Using the 'Pinned' function on the microblogging site, she placed the note on top of her page as she revealed she will bow out of social media while she grieves.

Her news comes a month after she confirmed she is hanging up her telly-watching shoes and quitting Gogglebox, to the heartbreak of viewers.

Appearing on This Morning, she confessed she will 'really miss' the Channel 4 series, but has decided to move on following the departure of her on-screen partner, Sandi Bogle, who is currently starring on Celebrity Big Brother.

Sandra confirmed the sad news to Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, and explained that she finally felt ready to pursue other projects - such as pantomime.

Speaking of her exit, she said: 'I am going to miss it, but I decided at that time I wanted to move on to other things.'

Before continuing: 'It's been four and a half years now, and I'm just moving on, keeping up with the times.'

However, she went on to explain that she also did not feel the show was 'the same' without her on-screen partner Sandi - who quit the series in December.

The 49-year-old had quit to pursue a career in singing, and was replaced with Sandra's daughter Chanchez for the last string of episodes.

Yet, admitting it had not felt right without her pal, Sandra admitted: 'Sandi left last year as everyone knows, she's my TV partner, and my daughter came on after.

'I want to pursue my career to do other things, Sandi had gone before, but it wouldn't have been the same with my daughter.' 

While she loved appearing beside Chanchez, the fan favourite acknowledged there has been a slight barrier between the pair on-screen - as particular programmes had not been appropriate for mother-daughter viewing.

She added: 'There are certain subjects that I can’t discuss with a 24-year-old. 

'There are certain subjects and when we are watching a show about ‘ooh-ohh’ it’s difficult for me to talk about ‘ooh-ooh’ with my daughter.'

Sandra and Sandi, from Thornton Heath, south London, quickly became favourites on the series, after appearing on the very first episode back in 2013. 

However Sandi announced she was quitting the series just before Christmas last year, to focus on her singing career.
