Leggy Ariel Winter teams skimpy denim shorts with thick leather cowboy boots for grocery run in LA... despite sweltering 40 degree heatwave

The city is currently enduring a record-breaking heat wave, which has seen temperatures rise to a whopping 41 degrees. 

But Ariel Winter did not seem to let the sweltering weather faze her on Wednesday, as she headed to the supermarket in LA in a traditional pair of cowboy boots.

Acknowledging the blazing weather however, the Modern Family actress, 19, paired the thick leather boots with a seriously skimpy pair of denim shorts as she picked up her weekly essentials at Gelson's Market.

The actress appeared to dismiss the sticky weather by stepping out in the heeled boots, which rose close to her knee and were made of a classic tan leather.

Keeping cool elsewhere however, Ariel teamed the footwear with a skimpy crochet crop top and tiny denim shorts, to flash her toned stomach and long legs to all. 

Leaving her hair in loose waves and adding nothing but round sunglasses to her face, the make-up free star displayed her glowing complexion and natural beauty to all as she ran errands in the heatwave.

Picking up multiple bags of groceries, Ariel enlisted the help of her boyfriend Levi Meaden for the trip.

The 29-year-old actor dressed for comfort in a grey T-shirt, navy shorts, and a blue baseball cap.

Their afternoon out together comes shortly after the couple returned from a romantic trip to Lake Tahoe.

Keeping fans up-to-date on their loved-up getaway, the actress shared a number of snaps from their break on Instagram, one of which depicted the star in a crochet bikini.

Another of the images saw Ariel wear a low-cut crop top as she sailed on board a boat.

Speaking during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in May, Ariel confirmed that she and Levi - who is ten years her senior - were living together, after just six months of dating.

Opening up about their relationship, she confessed to the show host: 'I do have my own house — last year I bought my first house. My boyfriend and I live together.'

The pair were set up by her friend Sterling Beaumon, who co-starred in The Killing with Levi.
