Can’t speak to that, but there are a number of bugs and optimizations in WotC that will not, and cannot be applied by the team at Firaxis to the base game. It’s a hard fork, so WotC should be the more stable of the two going forward.

No, I would not. I’m not a big fan of the weapons in Alien Hunters. I feel they’re a bit overpowered. And the additional boss monsters would clog things up a bit. I don’t think Shen’s Gift would be as much of an issue. But still… I’d just go with WotC alone.

I would love to see a what happens when a group is given a bunch of smaller, two-man ships rather than a single, multi-crew, cruiser-style ship. Good luck!

I would absolutely turn off Alien Hunters before playing this. It has its own momentum, and yeah. It’d be weird to have multiple boss monsters rolling around.
