Aaron Carter receives home visit from St. Petersburg police after welfare check request made to authorities
Aaron Carter received a visit from police Thursday at his home in Florida after receiving a request for a welfare check.
The 29-year-old singer was on the phone with someone who believed he could be in danger, according to a report Thursday by TMZ.
St. Petersburg Police reportedly were told by the caller that Carter appeared to be under the influence.

Sources told TMZ that one of Carter's neighbors went to check on him, but nobody responded.
Carter appeared fine as police arrived, according to a neighbor, and he was seen answering the door for officers.
Police also responded to Carter's home on September 6 after a friend reported that he threatened to commit suicide.
Officers also went to the singer's home three times in less than 24 hours earlier this month.

A worried caller on September 5 reported that Carter had been abusing alcohol and drugs and for several weeks had been trying to buy a gun.
A woman the same day called 911 and told authorities that Carter was driving after 'inhaling computer duster,' according to a report Thursday by The Blast.
Carter later that day crashed his BMW into the rear of a car that stopped at a stop sign.

The Crush On You singer also was arrested in July in Georgia for investigation of driving under the influence and marijuana possession.
The younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, 37, came out as bisexual via Twitter in August.
Carter was scheduled to perform on Friday at the LGBT bar and dance club Southern Nights Orlando in Florida.
