Her big return? Dannii Minogue 'set to join The X Factor Australia as judge after signing six-figure deal'
|
She declined an invitation to return to the show last year after her alleged affair with Simon Cowell was made public.
But it seems that Dannii Minogue's X Factor journey is far from over, as the singer has reportedly signed up to star as a judge on this year's X Factor Australia.
The 41-year-old is rumoured to have signed a 'six-figure deal' with producers to return to the show, in a move that would see her take a seat on the panel alongside Ronan Keating.
X Factor comeback? Dannii Minogue has reportedly signed on to star as a judge on the new series of the Australian show
A source has told The Mirror: 'Dannii is delighted to be back on a show she had a lot of fun doing. She was also very successful on the UK version. This time around she can find talent in her own country and find a new Australian singing star.'
'Dannii sees Australia as her home and so this offer works perfectly for her family life with her son Ethan. Being on the Australian show also means she doesn't need to cross paths with Simon Cowell and that is no bad thing either,' they added.
The move, which is expected to be announced on Tuesday, will be the first time that Dannii has returned to The X Factor since she left the UK version in 2010.

New deal: Dannii is rumoured to have signed a 'six-figure deal' with show producers for her new role in Australia
She spent four years on the show, and went out on a high after her act Matt Cardle was crowned winner in 2010, announcing her departure a few months later.
The star is currently in the UK, having just launched a new collaboration between her clothing line Project D and Simply Be and is filming for Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model.
Simon Cowell is in the process of mixing up the judging panels on both the UK and US X Factor, writing on Twitter on Tuesday:
'There will be a lot of changes on X factor UK and USA. But good changes. I feel excited for both shows this year.'

While UK judge Tulisa is rumoured to have been axed from the show, she recently admitted that she had no idea what Simon's plans are:
'I still don't know yet, as like every year I don't find out until the month before. I've spoken to Simon via text messages, just general conversation, not about the show,' she told The Sunday Mirror.
And in another twist, Simon is rumoured to be bringing back former judge Sharon Osbourne to replace the N Dubz star.
'Simon is a huge fan of Sharon. Things are looking good for her. She is in pole position,' a source told The Sun.
