Banks are about to open the floodgates to your data

From January, all retail financial institutions in the UK (and Europe) will legally have to provide open access to all their customer data to any regulated third party that asks for it. In theory, the rules should mean that over time we are able to open one app on our phones or log in to one platform online and see every financial account we have in one place. But there are big questions about how safe our personal information will be. Here's what you need to know.

Property transaction values sink for first time since 2009
