Beleaguered Boris Becker’s bid to put on a united front with his wife Lilly, who has admitted to marital problems, has not lasted long.

Days after their appearance at Oktoberfest in Germany this week, the Wimbledon champion, 49, appears to have absented himself while 41-year-old Lilly cosies up to lederhosen-clad Snowden actor Erol Sander.

Lilly, in a dirndl-style dress, laughed and cupped the married 48-year-old’s face before leaning in for an intimate embrace.

Only last week Lilly, who has a son with Boris, opened up about their struggle at home since he was declared bankrupt in June.

‘We must fight for each other, for our family,’ she said.

Samantha Cameron has reinvented herself as a fashion designer. Now her half-brother Jake Astor, a Hong Kong-based financier, is planning an alternative future as a venison jerky and spirits manufacturer.

Jake’s father Viscount Astor, who owns a 20,000 acre estate on the Hebridean island of Jura, has trademarked the name The Jura Jerky Company for his son’s venture. ‘It is my youngest son’s project,’ says Viscount Astor whose wife is SamCam’s mother Annabel. ‘He thought the first thing to do was register the name.’

Whisky name brands Corran Whisky and Lord Astor Whisky have also been trademarked. Lord Astor adds; ‘We thought at one point he might in the future want to do his own Jura whisky.

‘Obviously, the name of Jura has been taken. We just thought of some names.’

Pity he didn’t plump for a more exotic name. In his bachelor days, Tatler memorably described Jake as ‘superhot Jake the Snake, with alarmingly tight trousers’.
