Detailing the series of events that took place before she met her production manager husband Sean, she revealed: 'I’ve always been a wiccan, a white witch, so I cast a love spell before I met Sean to meet the right person.'

'I use candles and crystals in the magic I do. I wrote down exactly what I was after. Then I met Sean and he was exactly what I had written. It's as if he appeared by magic!' she proclaimed.

However, Samantha, who shares two children with Sean, was quick to defend herself: 'It's not as bonkers as it sounds.

'Lots of people are into manifesting. A lot of people have read The Secret, it's ritualising it and using all kids of things,' she added.

Wicca is a Pagan Witchcraft tradition where a god and goddess is worshipped. Practising magic is a fundamental part of Wicca.

This isn't the first time the soap-star used witchcraft to help her out in a time of need as earlier this summer she lured back her missing cat after leaving a trail of her own urine around her home.

Samantha was devastated when her beloved pet Bob vanished without a trace, but sprinkled the trail down her street and used dowsing rods in desperate efforts try to locate the cat.

But just as she had given up hope, Bob strolled back home - nine days after he went missing.

Ms Giles said at the time: 'We really didn't expect him to come home on his own.

'We'd been out to a charity event that night and when we came home, our babysitter shouted from the kitchen 'Bob's back'!

'She was crying too because it was such a relief. We were euphoric,' she concluded.
