Yazmin has been the focus of much attention lately, as she recently revealed that she had gone under the knife for rhinoplasty surgery after previously breaking her nose and explained that she was pleased with the 'amazing' results.

Aside from her surgery confession, she landed herself into hot water when she was shown telling her hunky beau James Lock that she didn't want him to help out with the mopping because she saw it as a 'girl's job' on this week's instalment of TOWIE.

The brunette beauty, who recently moved in with Lockie, was initially seen complaining that she wanted more help with chores around the house after her partner heaped praise on her for her domesticated ways.

However, once James showed a willingness to roll his sleeves up and grant her wish, Yazmin said: 'I don’t want you to be mopping up and stuff as that is a girl’s thing. I don’t think I’d fancy you if I saw you mopping about and stuff.'

Standing in their spotless kitchen with large rollers in her hair as she made the statement, Yazmin appeared to be quite serious in her stance - and her boyfriend appeared to have no problem with her point of view.

However, viewers soon took to Twitter in droves to express their disappointment at the statement, with one writing: 'I really like @YazminOukhellou but her views are all wrong... Mopping is not a "girls job" & rowing in a relationship is not great.' [sic]

Added another: 'Oh please Yasmin it's 2017 what u mean mopping is a woman's job how old [are you].'

While one viewer complained that she'd fallen into embracing 'everyday sexism', another stated that the Essex native should be mindful of the example she's setting.

'Yaz saying "mopping is a girl's thing" made me so [annoyed]. You can't air that when young viewers might look up to her,' wrote the TOWIE fan.
