'I love my daddy': Harper Beckham sweetly clings onto David as proud mum Victoria catches the moment on camera

She's the only daughter of the Beckham brood.

And Harper Beckham, six, proved she was a daddy's girl as she clung onto father David in a sweet Instagram snap on Tuesday. 

Sharing the moment with her 17 million followers, proud mum Victoria revealed what her little one had said, captioning the shot: 'I love my daddy x Kisses. We love u @davidbeckham.'

The adorable snap appears to have been taken before Harper headed to school, and sees the youngster cuddling up to her famous father. 

Delighted to have his little girl in his arms, David looks wistfully away from the camera as he cuddles the spirited youngster. 

The former footballer has been known to publicly gush over his only daughter, especially as she has expressed an interest in following in his footsteps and taking up his beloved sport.

During a Facebook live on his own page on the social media site, David recalled Harper recently coming over to him and saying: 'Daddy, I would like to maybe play football.'

Sharing his reaction, David said: 'I was like, "Oh my goodness, that's amazing!"'

'Having children is the most special thing in the world,' he insisted. 'You don't love any of them more than any of the others. It's just different, you know. The boys are very protective over [Harper] and, obviously, so am I.'

His comments came after fashion designer Victoria admitted that their only daughter is a 'tomboy'.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2015, she explained: 'She loves to put her football boots on and get in the garden with her brothers and have a bit of rough and tumble.' 

Victoria and David are also parents to sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12.
