Nine-bed Georgian stately home where Bake Off was filmed goes on the market for £5m (but you’ll need to buy your own tent)
- Grade II-listed Harptree Court in Somerset boasts six reception rooms, seven bathrooms and nine bedrooms
- Nine-bedroom mansion's garden was home to Bake Off's famous tent for two seasons of the hit BBC show
- Home, which has been used as a luxury bed and breakfast, has also seen Skins and Casualty filmed there
A nine-bedroom Georgian mansion home to the Great British Bake Off's iconic tent is on the market £5million.
Grade II listed Harptree Court near Bristol in Somerset, was the battle ground for star bakers and saw many a soggy bottom during its two-season tenure with the hit BBC culinary show, from 2012-13.
But owners Linda and Charles Hill have decided to put the luxury home on the market after seeing two bake off winners, John Whaite and Frances Quinn, crowned in their sprawling back garden.

Harptree Court is owned by Linda and Charles Hill who have been running the property as an up-market bed and breakfast
Bake Off was never filmed inside the grand property (pictured, one of the nine bedrooms) but the show's iconic tent was set up in its sprawling grounds

The couple - who run a luxury bed and breakfast from the Georgian property - say they 'loved' being a part of the popular programme.
Their impressive home boasts six reception rooms, seven bathrooms as well as beautifully manicured green lawns.
Mrs Hill, 60, said: 'I have never laughed so much as filming for Great British Bake Off.
'The crew were all lovely.
The home's wide hallway boasts these impressive columns which frame a reception area with a polished wooden floor
None of Bake Off's star bakers made their treats in this kitchen, but owners could certainly enjoy preparing meals in this spacious and attractively decorated space

Holidaymakers who choose to stay at Harptree Court can enjoy relaxing in these tree houses, away from the main property
Harptree Court, which has been in Mr Hill's family since 1920, sits nestled next to lush green woodland and boasts impressive sprawling lawns
'They also filmed the first ever episode of Skins here so we had Slumdog Millionaire actor Dev Patel here too. The treehouse has featured in Vogue and Casualty has also been filmed here.
'It will be emotional leaving but there is enormous potential for the new owner.'
The current series of Bake Off is the first one to be screened by Channel 4 after six years on the BBC.
