In 2015 Taraji put her more modest 2 suburban starter home on rental market for $3,700 a month.

The star made her two-bedroom 1930s Spanish bungalow in Glendale, California available for rent after buying it in 2002, according to Variety.

The actress hadn't lived at the house since 2010 and moved after finding success on Person Of Interest portraying Detective Jocelyn 'Joss' Carter, according to TMZ.

She then moved to the five bedroom mansion, before putting it up for sale.

'Listen, we're like the Jeffersons. Now a big LA house. To us, it's a mansion,' she said at the time.

Admitting that she argued to have their sex scenes removed from the episodes, Henson revealed the feminist inklings behind the character choice.

'For me, as a woman, I felt that the power would be lost if she had sex with him,' she said.

'Cookie’s trying to evolve. She really loves this man. She just snapped and destroyed the entire Empire [offices] with a bat,' Taraji shared.

'That’s very animalistic. And then to get to that peak of passion, it just felt like it was taking a stronger stance for herself to not fall for flesh… and walk away.'

Empire return for its fourth season come Fall 2017.
