Last week they batted off engagement rumours, and have been under constant scrutiny for months for their seemingly mismatched and sudden romance.

But Chloe Green wasn't pandering to any of the tittle tattle on Thursday night as she defiantly stepped onto the regal red carpet of the Monte-Carlo Gala For The Global Ocean alongside felon-turned-model boyfriend Jeremy Meeks.

The star-studded event, held in honour of Leonardo DiCaprio's environmental work, was held at the Monaco Garnier Opera House, and saw the red carpet littered with the likes of Prince Albert II, Oscar winner Adrien Brody and songstress Nelly Furtado.

Chloe - the Topshop heiress daughter of Sir Philip Green and his wife Tina - stood with her married lover and posed for photos, wearing a long black velvet gown, with cut-outs at the waist.

The plunging front of the gown was coordinated with a black and silver necklace and she donned a leather cropped jacket over the top.

Chloe, 26, clung on to a black and metal-studded clutch as she linked arms with her ex-con lover and glared down the various lenses pointed in their direction.

She wore her brunette locks in light waves around her shoulders and pouted her clay-toned lips with a knowing smirk.

Joining them at the event were Princess Charlene and husband Prince Albert II - with the former opting for a strapless gown with a dramatic sweeping skirt and heavily embellished bodice.

The Princess and mother to Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques shared a tender moment on the red carpet with husband Albert, son of the late Grace Kelly.

The couple were joined tonight by a host of stars including Adrien Brody and actress Olga Kurylenko.

Adrien looked smart in a black suit while Olga stunned in a shimmering rose gold floor-length gown.

Singer Nelly Furtado wore a sleeveless duck egg blue number featuring silver stripes across it.

She completed this with a blue laurel wreath-type headpiece and dropped earrings.

'Hot felon' Jeremy was charged with the possession of firearms in 2014, came out of prison and landed a flashy new modelling career.

He left his wife Melissa Meeks for Topshop billionaire heiress Chloe Green earlier this summer, causing much controversy in doing so.

He was released from prison in March 2016 and caused further furor on Sunday when he played up to his bad boy image by making a gun pose while standing shirtless in Malibu.

The star also made what appeared to be gang hand signs as he embarked on the photoshoot just off the Pacific Coast Highway.

Jeremy was initially propelled into the spotlight after his mug shot in June 2014 went viral, receiving more than 33,000 likes and 10,400 comments on Facebook.

At the time, he had been arrested on felony weapon charges in Stockton, California.

On Monday, Chloe shared several Instagram images where she was in bed with Jeremy and called him her 'number one.'

The day before Jeremy said he had 'found the one' in a revealing social media post.

In the first intimate image, a shirtless Jeremy is seen capturing a selfie of the pair in bed, with Chloe reclining behind him in a pair of printed silk pyjamas.

Holding a peace sign while her beau smoldered for the camera, Chloe captioned the snap: 'Goodnight world', alongside an affectionate love heart emoji.

Not stopping there however, the heiress went on to share a second snap of the duo relaxing in bed - proving her love for Jeremy in the caption, which read: 'My number 1 @jmeeksofficial'

Jeremy also shared a selfie of the pair at a rooftop location - with Chloe planting a kiss on his cheek in front of the stunning LA backdrop.

Declaring his love for her, following the breakdown of his marriage to wife Melissa, the model gushed to fans: 'My #1 @chloegreen', which Chloe later posted to her own page, adding the comment: 'I am his and he is mine!'

Jeremy has had a very public breakdown of his marriage to Melissa, who was fiercely loyal to the convict during his lengthy prison sentence.

He is step-father to her two children from other marriages Robert, aged 11, and Ellie, aged 16.
