Last week, it appeared to be all but confirmed that her romance with Chad Johnson was over, when he removed all traces of her from his Instagram account.

But Sarah Harding, 35, very publicly showed that things are still going strong between the pair, as she was spotted sharing a passionate kiss with him outside Los Angeles International Airport after joining him in California this week.

Wearing a black flowing minidress, the former Girls Aloud singer enthusiastically wrapped her arms around the 30-year-old American hunk as the pair locked lips moments after she jetted over to the US from her London home.

The lovebirds could barely keep their hands off each other as they chatted and laughed while enjoying extended hugs and kisses following a long time apart. 

And it appears that the singer has plans to stay with her beau - who she met during their appearance on this summer's edition of Celebrity Big Brother - as she was spotted making her way through the terminal with no less than three suitcases. 

Their affectionate reunion comes days after it appeared to be a given that things were over between the pair following reports of turmoil, which culminated in Chad removing all images of Sarah from his Instagram account.

While they still followed each other on the photo-sharing app, a source told The Sun of the pair last week: 'Things are hard – they’re so far apart, and there’s the time difference too. 

'When they do speak things are tense – she’s worried he could be using the relationship for fame, he’s talked about ending the relationship a couple of times – it’s really difficult. Things are hanging by a thread right now.' 

Sarah hinted that things weren't exactly perfect between the pair earlier this month, when she revealed that Chad had returned to California.

And her revelation came shortly after it was reported that he was using dating app Bumble, despite the new couple claiming they were in love with one another.

Speaking on ITV's Loose Women, Sarah said of their relationship at the time: 'It's going OK. He's gone back to LA now so I don't know...'

And revealing that she would try to go over and visit him as much as possible, she continued: 'I've got some work possibly lined up in LA in next few weeks.'

Talking about former bandmate Nadine Coyle, who lives in LA with her partner Jason Bell and their daughter Anaiya, she revealed: 'She always does that [go back and forth]

'I might be back over there, who knows. We spent a week together outside the house, but we've got our own lives to get on with. I'm still acclimatising and getting used to real life!'

And admitting that she was taking their romance slow, she added: 'I want to be sensible about this. I didn't fancy any of the lads when I got in the [CBB] house, with me and Chad we only had each other to lean on and after we were both nominated things grew.'

Singer Sarah put on a brave face as she smiled and waved for cameras, following claims Chad was spotted on a dating site.

Chad, who rose to fame looking for love on the US reality show before landing on British shores to join Celebrity big Brother where his relationship with Sarah blossomed, was 'seen' on popular app Bumble.

The profile uncovered by The Sun, which boasts a blue tick implying that it is verified through the user's Facebook account, sees a beaming topless Chad smiling for the camera.

Describing himself as an Owner/ Partner at Chad Johnson LLC and having studied at Oklahoma university, the bio reads: 'I do TV stuff, own a supplement company, and basically am an Internet fitness entrepreneur as well as stock investor.' 

Last year, during his appearance on US dating show The Bachelorette, he was also rumbled for having a dating profile whilst on the show.

It is not known whether the profile is old, his own, or has been activated since his departure from the house.

Chad's representative declined to comment when approached on verifying the account. 

After Sarah was crowned CBB winner at the end of last month, she told host Emma Willis of Chad: 'He became my best friend and my rock, and every day is like a month so it felt like a longer time and I had to make a difficult decision.

'After what we went through it couldn't compare to what I had on the outside briefly, we'd been through the mill together.'

Sarah recently admitted she had been in a relationship with Aaron Lacey prior to entering the house.

The former Girls Aloud singer told the Daily Star: 'I was in a very brief relationship before I went into the house - It was a matter of weeks, so it wasn't very serious.' 

Explaining how the house atmosphere intensifies relationships, Sarah revealed that each day in the house feels like a week and her relationship with Chad felt like something long term. 

She admitted:  'It was a very careful consideration it wasn't taken lightly - I was in a very unfortunate situation where I wasn't in a position to deal with it properly.'

Aaron, 33, is said to be 'devastated' by the way Sarah treated him.
