The Sa'eer or Saeer is an Iranian upgrade of old Russian or Chinese 100 mm air defence gun. Iran has a stock of obsolete Soviet KS-19 100mm anti-aircraft guns, some likely captured from Iraq during the 1980s. The Sa’eer would be based on the Russian made anti-aircraft gun KS-19 or its Chinese equivalent the Type-59, but now equipped with automatic motorized positioning system and firing radar.

The Samavat 35mm is an Iranian version of the Swiss Oerlikon 35 mm twin cannon. This is a towed anti-aircraft gun made by Oerlikon Contraves now a subdivision of Rheinmetall Air Defence AG. Iran originally acquired GDF-001 systems with Fledermaus radars which were primarily deployed to defend air bases.
